Carlene joined the Sterling Financial Management team in January 2018 and is responsible for the day to day administrative functions within the office.

Carlene was born and raised in Waynesboro, PA and a 1982 graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School. After a 20 year career at Moore Business Communications Services in Project Management, she took a position at the Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce where she served as executive director for six years. Her time at the Chamber was one of the best experiences of her lifetime, and one that she’ll cherish forever. She developed many friendships and business relationships that carry on today.

Carlene loves being involved in the community where she has served on many organizations throughout the last 20 years. One of her strengths is helping people in any way she can. In 2013, she was awarded the Waynesboro YMCA Building Strong Communities Award. Having been involved in Rotary for over 14 years, she learned that “Service above Self” has definitely made her a better person.

Although she enjoys working outside the home, she especially loves gardening, being a grandmother and spending time with family and friends at their OBX home in Corolla, NC.
